Inspired by Chuseok (추석), a Korean Moon Festival that is celebrated in September, this illustration has some of my favorite treats to eat during that holiday: yakgwa (약과), which is kind of like a mooncake, except sweeter; persimmons; and delicious songpyeon (half-moon shaped rice cakes)! The tea that you see here is sujeonggwa, which is a delicious and sweet cinnamon drink that you can enjoy after your meal. May your fall season be filled with lots of joy and great fortune!
